Lumene Vitamin C Age Defying Arctic Cloudberry
Most days of my life are spent relishing the release of brand new makeup. But lately I've noticed that I get equally excited about skincare, actually, thinking about it now, I get REALLY excited about skincare lately. Dunno what changed. Perhaps I'm a little burned out from one too many eyeshadows but I really enjoy exploring new skincare lately and I even notice I've been stockpiling moisturizers, cleansers, and toners like they might go out of style at any given time.
This week I'm trying out the new Lumene releases that you can check out at your local CVS.
So far it's a likey!
Check it after the jump!
Ah well I guess typically skincare should take a whole heck of alot more time to test out but the Muse is known for not following any rules. I've been checking out Lumene Vitamin C+ Age Defying Arctic Cloudberry Protecting Day Cream for the last four days or so and I think I can easily make up my mind whether I loves it or leaves it.
And I loves it.
My skin absolutely thrives on the Lumene Vitamin C+ Energy Cocktail so it's taken quite the liking to Lumene Vitamin C+ Protecting Day Cream as they sport similar ingredients and formulas. The moisturizer sports a very light formula that absorbs easily into skin minus an oily, greasy after feel. Since it does contain SPF I was worrisome that it would be greasy but it actually feels very light and smooth on my face and leaves behind a dewy fresh finish. Speaking of sun protection it contains an SPF 15 which is somewhat low for someone like me who chooses to sport a 90+ on my face but I'd say SPF 15 is adequate really considering my base, powder, etc…contains SPF as well. It's scented much like the Energy Cocktail with a bright fruity citrus scent, quite nice to my nose.
Most important of all the formula prevents the first signs of aging, granted I can't speak for it doing so as those results are difficult to see unless something is used over the course of years but I still feel like I'm doing something good for my skin by choosing to use an anti-aging facial moisturizer. The Arctic Cloudberry included in the formula supposedly contains twice the vitamin C of an orange 10 times it's size. After using for the Lumene Vitamin C+ Energy Cocktail for so many months now it seems my skin definitely approved of the Vitamin C as it appears a little less dull and quite fresh looking which I hope, with time, that the Lumene Vitamin C+ Protecting Day Cream will do the same.
The moisturizer comes housed in a 1.7oz glass jar that's packed with product for $19.99. 1.7oz may seem small in size but since a little goes a long way you probably get a year out of the moisturizer and still have more to go.
Overall, it's appealing $19.99 price tag, light, protective formula, and anti-aging benefits have me enjoying Lumene Vitamin C+ Age Defying Arctic Cloudberry Protecting Day Cream.
If you're a fond fan of the Lumene Vitamin C+ Skincare, I'm sure you'll adore it and if you're new to the line I suggest checking it out. The line includes serum, night cream, eye serum, etc….at quite affordable prices.
Lumene can be found at CVS, Target, and Ulta.
